Description
Greenpoint has completed its first project for renowned Aged Care and Retirement Living Provider – Japara Healthcare Ltd, at its Brighton-Le- Sands Aged Care facility.
The project involved the demolition of the existing Jenny-Lyn Aged Care facility and the construction of a new 3 level building, connecting into the previously completed Stage 1 building.
Stage 2 included the addition of the following to the existing facility:
- 25no Aged Care Beds with ensuites
- Dining, Sitting and Lounge Areas
- Servery and Utility rooms
- Staff Stations
- Covered Terrace/Roof top areas
- Landscaped and external areas
- Major Mechanical and fire services plant designed to service complete building (i.e. the
existing portion also). These works comprise a Rooftop Sprinkler Water storage tank (30KL) and pump plant equipment.
Greenpoint’s continual planning; co-ordination and experienced management; as well as our close collaboration with Japara (Client) & Boffa Robertson Group (Architect) saw this project completed some 2 months ahead of schedule!
